2021 New Years Resolutions & Goals for the World

Be unwilling to quit during 2021.

Be unwilling to compromise on your goals.

Be unwilling to compromise on your integrity.

I ask all of you to use 2021 and stand against the belief of limitations. Focus on your intent of creating a better world with a purpose to help others. Your lack of imagination is your only limit.

Fight against negative thoughts. Remove negative people and situations from your life. Life is too precious to waste. Life is a fucking gift. Treat it as such. Your life is valuable. Your life has meaning.

Remember to follow your intuition. Even if others don't understand or agree. Not everything you go through is meant for understanding by everyone. You don't owe an explanation to anyone.

Have faith in yourself. Have faith in the collective. Have faith in your ability.

Happy New Year!

Just Breathe | Los Angeles Boudoir Photography

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft

When you shoot with the luxury Dallas based boudoir studio, Wonderland Boudoir, we often tell you that if you only remember one thing during your session, it's to just breath.

Breathing is something we all do instinctively. It's the first thing we do when we leave the womb and the last thing before we take that final rest until our next transition. However, we all, in a way, take the complicated art of breathing for granted.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft

There are different ways to breath depending on where you are and what you are doing. For example, when you work out there is a different way to breath to make sure you're getting enough oxygen to your lungs. When you meditate you have another way of breathing. When shooting your boudoir session with Wonderland Boudoir we have a special way for you to breath. Our technique is two-fold. First, it helps you to calm down. The second is that when you breathe correctly it always you to showcase that subtle sexiness that all women have.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light

What a lot of women don't get is that boudoir is not just about sexy faces. It's the slight change in your lips, the flirtatiousness of the eyes, and the way that you run your fingers in your hair. Boudoir is about capturing those soft and subtle elements of femininity that we all miss because we have taken it for granted.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light

When you come to us, the first rule I teach everyone is how to properly breathe. When you're not breathing correctly I take the time to show you the difference in your photos. Without fail, every single time, the client is floored how something as simple as breathing really changes the whole feel of a single shot.

This is just one of the rules we teach you at Wonderland Boudoir.

While out shooting boudoir in Los Angeles one of my favorite girls I had the opportunity of capturing was Ms. A. I know! I shot A LOT of ladies whose name begins with "A" while out in Los Angeles. I actually met Ms. A through the suggestion of another amazing photographer, Jerry from The Willis Collection.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light

Jerry told me that he had a badass friend that he thinks I should hold a boudoir session with. He believed that Ms. A and I might vibe since our frequency seemed to be on the same wavelength. Clearly, Jerry isn't a bad judge in character. He knew exactly what he was talking about when it came to Ms. A.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light, Tattoo Boudoir Session, Inked Girls

Ms. A and I chatted a bit before actually meeting. Even when it came to the location she had another place in mind that was just absolutely stunning. It was something that you only see in high-end Instagram accounts.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light, Tattoo Boudoir Session, Inked Girls

The location was masculine but still had enough gender fluidity that we could make it work. I knew as soon as I walked into the sun-drenched industrial styled location that I wanted to do a more laid back and late summer vibe. I'm sure by now you guys know that I LOVE laid-back late summer shoots. HaHa!

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light, Tattoo Boudoir Session, Inked Girls

Shooting Ms. A felt like I was speaking to a friend that I had known for decades. She and her beautiful dog, Professor Pierre, made my day. Also, Pierre taught me that I need to go a little easier on my coconut and vitamin E body oil concoction I had created especially for LA. This funny little pup would not stop licking my leg! It was perfectly fine with me seeing as that was the most a male has licked me in years.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light, Tattoo Boudoir Session, Inked Girls

As you guys know that I lost the order of my blog questionnaire that I have all the ladies complete. I'm praying that these are actually Ms. A's responses or else I'm going to look like a complete ass.

LOL! Here we go!

BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE INTERVIEW WITH MS.A - LOS ANGELES BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

How did you feel going through your second session with us?

Honestly the best experience! Korin is really such a pleasure to work with as she makes you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin!!

What did you learn from this session that really helped you?

love to learn something from everyone and with Korin it was to breathe out as we shot, to create a sense of ease in the photo and relaxed which totally changed the game for me I think!

What was your favorite part about getting ready for your session?

Planning outfits and the vibe for this shoot as Korin made her way out to LA!

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light, Tattoo Boudoir Session, Inked Girls

What is something that you learned about yourself after your second session?

I learned that I am both fierce and sexy.

What are some suggestions that you would give other women considering a boudoir session for first or second time?

Trust the magic! Embrace your body and personality, let that shine through. Ask lots of questions and work with the photographer to figure out what works best with your angles!

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, White Industrial Loft, Wood Floors, White Sheets, Natural Light, Tattoo Boudoir Session, Inked Girls

Please add any final thoughts you might have.

Book her!! I've worked with a lot of male photographers, and the differences with a female photographer and their ability to see and create a vision of the female body are empowering!

Summer's Last Goodbye, The Most Epic Sunset i Los Angeles | Los Angeles Boudoir Photography

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

While Wonderland Boudoir is the premier Boudoir Photography studio in Dallas, occasionally we love to travel out of state to capture some boudoir sessions. One of my favorite cities in the world is Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

Los Angeles is a great city but I do have a few complaints I'd like to voice. First of all, why is there ALWAYS traffic?! I mean really my G?! Are there THAT many people that live in the city? I guess Drake was right when he said, "You know LA traffic, how the city slow". Perhaps I have been spoiled by living in Texas. The speed limit here goes up to 80 mph on major highways. So you can only imagine how taken aback I was when the max I could get drive the highway was 50.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

It drove me absolutely mad.

The other thing that drives me crazy about Los Angeles is the parking. Parking is damn near impossible in that town. On my first night in the Airbnb, I got lucky because there was a free spot right in front of the building I was renting. I was actually cool until my last 24 hours in LA. Where my car got towed and I was fined $167 where I parked. I mean, they only had my rental car for 40 good minutes and I had to pay damn near $300 to get that bad boy out.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

Let's not forget that since Los Angeles traffic is so bad it took us 30 minutes to drive five miles to the impound.

First of all, LA needs to hire a civil engineer so they can figure out the parking situations. I mean one night I had to park two blocks away from the building... only to get up at 6 AM to make sure I had enough money in the meter so I wouldn't be towed.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

Why am I bringing all this up? Because before Ms. M held our session, I had to bum a ride from her to pick up my towed rental car. Thus wasting two good hours of shooting time. Since I wasted our time that only lead to us not shooting in the desert. Therefore I had to move our boudoir session to Ascot Park.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

I hated that we had to waste our golden shooting time to worry about my car issues, but I have to say that the final photos were all worth the hassle.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

What I loved most about Ms. M outdoor boudoir session was that magnificent sunset. What's even crazier is that I don't believe that my camera or photos did that sunset any justice.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset
Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

You know what else I loved about that sunset? It made me feel like my dad was watching over me. I have no idea why, but I honestly felt that sunset from him that day was a way for him to just say hi and that's he's watching me. Don't you love little signs like that from family members that have passed? I know I do.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

I couldn't have asked for a better way to conclude our boudoir session with Ms. M. The fashion that we picked out for her session complemented the scenery perfectly. I loved how her wavy curls added a sense of late summer nonchalance. That blue jean jacket with burgundy panties was a simple and classic Americano.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

Let's not forget how awesome Ms. M was. First of all, she drove all the way from San Diego to shoot with me in Los Angeles. Then once she got here she totally took me to get my rental car back. Ms. M is another person that I have been trying to hook up with for a minute now. She was actually recommended to me by another boudoir photographer based in the Southern California area.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

Ms. M attitude was perfect for the session. She served our military and stayed calm, cool, and collected through our entire session. She was even open to being in panties, a jean jacket, and no bra in the middle of a public park with people walking around. That's what I call committed.

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir, California Sunset

I know I asked a lot from Ms. M that day, but she delivered without an ounce of complaint. For that, I have to be forever grateful for.

Sexy Lazy Saturday in Los Angeles | Los Angeles Boudoir Session

Los Angeles Boudoir Photographer, Wonderland Boudoir

While I am a boudoir photographer based in Dallas, Texas I do enjoy traveling to other states to shoot. One of my favorite places in the world is Los Angeles. What's not to love? Palm trees, great weather, and better food. Let me tell you, that the ladies out in LA did not disappoint!

Wonderland Boudoir also shoots in Los Angeles. If you are looking for an amazing Los Angeles Boudoir session please contact us so we can speak about your session! The best way to reach out and schedule the best time for you to speak is using this link!
Los Angeles Boudoir Photographer, Wonderland Boudoir

The thing is, I did have each one of the ladies I captured complete a questionnaire for the blog after it was completed, but my dumbass didn't think to have them write their names on their forms so I don't know which woman wrote what. So, unfortunately, all the Los Angeles boudoir blog post will have to come through my perception.

I know! I love hearing directly from the clients as well!

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland Boudoir, Female Boudoir Photographer

I send out questionnaires after the sessions because I love to hear feedback. I also use those questionnaires to help write the blog post. However, I fucked up because I didn't ask for the names of each one of the contributors so I don't know who wrote what responses. LOL. What's crazy is all the ladies pretty much responded the same to each one of the questions so I'm just going to have to improvise for these next four blog post. LOL.

16.jpg

Ms. A and I have been trying to shoot together for a while now. I was supposed to come out to LA last year, but things just fell apart. When it came to this round I made it my priority to make sure she was the first person I told when I was coming out to LA. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint.

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland Boudoir, Female Boudoir Photographer

Having confidence in whatever you're doing ( even if you have no idea what it is) will have an amazing impact of how you work looks. For example, Ms. A exuded a level of confidence that is hard to find with most people. In that confidence, you can see how much she loves and appreciates who she is. That is what I love to capture in my photographs. When you have this level of confidence your sex appeal goes up at least 5,007%.

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland Boudoir, Female Boudoir Photographer

Let's be honest, self-love is the sexiest and most important love of them all.

One of my favorite parts about shooting Ms. A was her attitude. She was up for anything, had an open mind, but wasn't scared to voice her thoughts. Even when I directed her for a pose she took that suggestion and then brought it up one more notch and it made it her own.

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland Boudoir, Female Boudoir Photographer

Another thing I really enjoyed was putting the outfits together. I will have to be honest with you here. You can't EVER tell how big anyone is based on photos. Let me tell you, the girls in LA are all super small. They may be curvy, but they are small. With that being said I brought a number of items that I thought would be too big for her, but they ended up working perfectly. While I loved each of the looks one of my favorites was the undershirt that we cut to showcase underboob (cuz who doesn't love underboob) and paired with these super sexy tights that had rhinestones all over it. Geez. That look was fun, sexy, and out of this world.

HOW TO STYLE A BOUDOIR SESSION

Just a note, a lot of people think that for boudoir session you have to spend thousands of dollars on your outfits. Honestly, you could just come in naked and that would be perfectly fine with me. If you are too shy to bare it all for your first boudoir session then that’s not a problem. Keep in mind that when styling for your session you should think outside the box and not necessary rock lingerie for your session.

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland boudoir, Black and White Boudoir

STYLE YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION BASED ON YOUR LOCATION

8.jpg

In Ms. A first look we used a comfy knit sweater and some cute but bright yellow panties. Since we were shooting in a studio apartment then I wanted the vibe to be more Saturday afternoon/Sunday morning lazy. Something sweet and cozy. The best way to accomplish that is by wearing a sweater in your boudoir session.

HOW TO COLOR BLOCK FOR A BOUDOIR SESSION

WHAT IS COLOR BLOCKING?

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland boudoir, Colorblock Boudoir Session

When you're styling for a boudoir session keep colors in mind. I am a huge fan of color blocking. Color blocking is the art of taking complementary colors on the color wheels and pairing them together.

Most people think that color blocking is just wearing opposite colors on the color wheel. In fact, it's not that simple. There are three ways to color block:

  1. Complimentary: Using two colors opposite each other on the color wheel

  2. Triad: Using three colors that are equal distance from each other on the color wheel

  3. Analogous: Using colors that fall right next to each other on the color wheel.

In Ms. A case we used the Analogous formula of color blocking for her second look. Mind you, this look is sexy as fuck! Most of the shoots taken can't be pinned on Pinterest, but this is my website and I'll do what I want (Cartman voice). I love how purple and blue rock together.

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland boudoir, Colorblocking

Besides sweaters, robes are a sexy way to spruce up your boudoir session. The best part about using robes in your boudoir session is how they naturally fall on your frame. They always seem to know where to fall to flatter you the most. The sheerness of her purple robe just electrifies her look.

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland boudoir, Color blocking

The last look was from an iconic American brand. Remember how I said that boudoir outfits don't have to cost you a whole mortgage payment? Well, this silver bodysuit from American Apparel was picked up for only $1! Yes, girl! I said one dollar! I am a WHOLE sucker for a closeout sale.

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland boudoir, Silver Bodysuit, American Apparel

Maybe about a year or so ago American Apparel closed down most (if not all) of their US locations and became an online retailer. To liquidate their products they were having massive blowout sales and I picked up a NUMBER of items for only $1. This metallic bodysuit was one of them. When you're out shopping for your boudoir session make sure you keep an open and fun mind about what you want to wear. Not everything has to come from Agent Provocateur!

Los Angeles Boudoir, Wonderland boudoir, Silver Bodysuit, American Apparel

I have to admit that I had an amazing time shooting Ms. A out in LA. I cannot wait to get other again and shoot her. She was an absolute dream to work with. I couldn't have dreamt of anything better.

A Beautiful Dream | Dallas Boudoir Photography

Top Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

I love boasting about our Dallas based Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir. However, what I love bragging about more is our clientele. My Dallas clients are fun as hell to work with. Ms. I was no exception to that rule.

Top Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

What I loved about Ms. I is that she immediately felt like a friend when she walked into the studio. When booking with me, I love getting to know you prior to your session. I want to know what all your concerns are about boudoir. I need to know this so I know how you can have the most relaxing yet super fun boudoir session imaginable.

Top Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

I got to know Ms. I before coming in and knew she was going to be an absolute dream to work with. She came in with an open mind, beautifully selected pieces, and a great attitude. Trifecta!

I know! I know! I normally don't shoot too many bedrooms anymore (I also have some of the most daring clientele!) but when I do I only book luxury locations. Those locations are normally based on on the mood board you provide me before our session.

Top Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

With every session that I capture with you, I make sure that I know what you are visually looking for. Yes, we can discuss it on the phone, but let's be very honest... the English language is very complicated. While coy sexy might mean one thing to me it could mean something completely different for you. Therefore, I have all my clients create a mood board on Pinterest.

Top Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Pinterest is a free platform that allows the user to sit, scroll, and pin all their favorite photos to every single board that can be imaged. If you want to see my Pinterest account please check it out here! I have TONS of boards that can help you build out your boudoir fantasy.

My account has boards dedicated to Boudoir Fashion, Boudoir Lingerie, Boudoir Hair, Boudoir Makeup, and much more. No, I don't post boring stuff either I even have a board dedicated to my personal fashion style.

Number 1 Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Ms. I built her beautiful session and Pinterest and I was able to narrow down a beautiful boudoir studio that matched her taste. One of my favorite places to shoot boudoir is at the Studio Bella's located in Downtown Dallas. This ENORMOUS studio is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. It has the most beautiful natural light that I have ever seen. If you are looking for a classic boudoir experience I can definitely capture you at Studio Bella.

Number 1 Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

With this session, I was able to work with one of my favorite people in all of Dallas, Jill Williams. She is a legendary (I'm calling it now) hair and makeup artist. She is always so busy so I am sooooo lucky when I am able to catch her. She is SUCH a delight to work with.

Number 1 Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Another important reason why your mood board is essential is that it allows the hair and makeup team to have a visual idea of what you are looking for. This is important because they need to know exactly what tools they need to bring to your session.

One of the things I love about Jill is that, even though she has your mood board, she will sit down and ask you what you really love about the look. Then she will customize it to fit your face and outfit. I just ADORE the fuck out of her! You will too!

Well, enough from me... you know the drill. Let's drool over some incredible photos of Ms. I and hear about her boudoir experience in her own words.

BOUDOIR INTERVIEW - MS. I

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

I decided to do a boudoir session as a treat to myself. I have been focusing on loving myself a lot recently and decided that a boudoir session would be the perfect way to do that.

Number 1 Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Before your session what were you expecting? How was that different once you finished your session?

I really didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be a lot more awkward and that I wouldn't like any of the pictures. After the session, I didn't feel awkward at all. It was very freeing to be in a safe environment while naked/almost naked. I felt comfortable, safe, and had an amazing time.

Number 1 Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

What was your favorite part of the whole process?

I have two favorite parts from When I first inquired, I sent an e-mail and received a quick response which was great. But, what was even better was the genuine care I felt during the initial conversation. Korin seemed genuinely interested in what I wanted to do and gave me some background on herself as well. This was amazing because it made me feel comfortable from the beginning. Favorite Part 2: The camaraderie between Korin and her stylist/make-up artist Jill was amazing. They were both friendly, positive and welcoming. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. Even when photos weren't being taken, I was still having a good time.

11.jpgNumber 1 Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

What would you say to women who are on the fence of doing a boudoir session? How has the session impacted your ideas of boudoir?

Don't wait, do it now. If you feel like there's something you need to fix or change about yourself first, stop thinking that. A boudoir session will make you feel empowered and help you love the skin you are in. This session has broadened my idea of boudoir. I realized that boudoir is more than sexy faces and clothes. It is more about feeling comfortable and confident in yourself (which is great because I definitely don't give off a sexy vibe in my day to day life).

Number 1 Dallas Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Okay, isn't Ms. I the best? Like the best, EVER? I had SUCH a blast with her and I hope to see her in the studio again! As you guys know I LOVE shooting clients for the second time. I always feel like the shooting for the second time is even better because you are so much more comfortable in who you are and how you pose. Those images are always so magical!

SONG OF THE WEEK:

All Gold Everything, Gold Glitter Outdoor Boudoir Session | Austin Boudoir Photography

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Wonderland Boudoir is the top Boudoir Photography Studio in Dallas. While we love shooting in Dallas we also love traveling to other cities to spread our wings and fly. In this case, we went to Austin to Get all Gold Everything!

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Speaking of gold, there are just some people who radiate beauty when they walk into a party. I mean, you could be in a pitch black room but the beauty of who they are will radiate through their soul. One of those people is Ms. M.

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir , Outdoor Boudoir

Yes, Queen! You know Ms. M! The last session I had with her, which was our first session together, we made, what I have to cliche-y, describe as fucking magic. I'm just going to say it. Ms. M's first session is my most favorite session that I have every shot. I felt like everything that day lined up perfectly to make this work. I couldn't be happier with her last session.

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

Since we were coming back to Austin I had to reach out to her because I had a CRAZY idea that Jazzy and I wanted to try. Jazzy wanted to shoot a woman using Fenty products and he wanted to make her shine like a Diamond (in my Rihanna voice). However, I wanted to take that idea a step further. Because if you guys know me in real life, I love to be EXTRA about everything.

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

I thought... why leave it to her face... why not make it her whole body? For awhile, I have had the urge to paint someone in body glitter and run around in the Texas sun... and who better than Ms. M? I hit her up, sitting on the edge of my bed awaiting her response. I let out a sigh of relief when she was totally open to my insane idea.

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

A few weeks later she met Jazzy and I at my brother's new spot in Austin and we painted every inch of her skin with this fine glitter and aloe vera concoction that Jazzy and I came up with. We had a total blast. Ms. M was SUCH a trooper.

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

I don't have very much time to shoot personal project anymore. So it's always fun when I can squeeze in those insanely fun ones. I have to say that Ms. M really did us a solid because she was out in 105+ degrees weather, fully naked, in gold glitter and she did it with a smile on her face. I can't thank her enough for that.

Gold Glitter Body Paint Austin Boudoir Photography, Wonderland Boudoir

One of the coolest thing about this whole session is the fact that we got the cover of Femme Modern Magazine! YAAAAAAS!!!! What's awesome is that this is the second time I shot with Ms. M and the second time in the same year we have gotten the cover! Can I get a fuck yeah! *Crowd Scream Fuck Yah Back*

Wonderland Boudoir for Femme Modern Magazine, Boudoir Magazine Cover

It's such a pleasure working with Ms. M. Since this was her second time shooting with us I wanted her to tell the entire internet about her experience.

INTERVIEW WITH MS.M

This was your second time shooting with Wonderland Boudoir. How did you feel going through your second session with us?

I had a great time shooting with Korin. She came to me with an interesting concept & I was sold! Shooting with Korin the 1st time, she made it comfortable and fun. So I knew doing this concept with her would be the same vibe. We were out on the hottest days of Texas summer but it was fun and definitely worth it because we got great shots!

What did you learn from the last session that helped you with this one?

I learned how Korin shoots. She makes you feel at ease and communicates with you. She will guide you but also lets you flow through poses. She has a creative eye and will communicate with you of what she’s looking for.

What was your favorite part about getting ready for your second session?

My favorite part was prepping for the shoot with the glitter on my body. That was really fun & new! I’ve been dying to do more nude work like this, so it was perfect!

How did you feel about having glitter EVERYWHERE? Even though this session was months ago are you still finding glitter randomly around everywhere?

Oh my gosh! I had trails of glitter!! If you could find a trail of glitter then you can find me. Every spec of glitter was worth it though & yes... we even recently moved and I still see a few specks of gold glitter here and there.

How was shooting outside for you? Would you suggest that for other women wanting a boudoir session?

I LOVE shooting outdoors. I’m a nature earthy type of person, so doing outside location shoots is my jam. Makes me feel more connected and nothing feels more freeing than being nude outdoors. I definitely suggest other women to give it a try. I think shooting a boudoir outdoors gives you that freeing release of confidence. Plus if you have a photographer like Korin who makes a shoot very comfortable, then you’re guaranteed to have an amazing shoot.

What is something that you learned about yourself after your second session?

Doing this second shoot with Korin, gave me more body confidence in myself. I’ve been wanting to get into more full body nude work and this concept was perfect. It has given me more confidence to do more shoots like this.

What are some suggestions that you would give other women considering a boudoir session for first or second time?

I think doing a boudoir session will give other women that confidence too. Don’t be afraid to just feel free and sensual. When you’re in front of the camera, it’s just you and that camera. Don’t be afraid to let go and most importantly have fun! I believe you are guaranteed to feel a power of confidence after a boudoir shoot.

For you third session what would your ultimate goal be?

I would love to shoot with Korin again. I’m interested to do more nude boudoir shoots and have the opportunity to let go and be even more daring with poses.

Korin is professional, talented and has a great vibe to her. She will communicate with you to make you feel at ease throughout the shoot. For the last week or so it has been raining nonstop in Dallas. As I listen to the soft beating of raining hitting the hard concrete of my patio I can't help but appreciate everything that has happened to me over the summer.

It has been an incredibly busy summer! I have been blessed to be booked and busy (can you tell I watch too much Love and Hip Hop Hollywood while editing?). I have met soooooo many ah-mazing ladies this summer and I feel so happy!

What has made this year so much more amazing is that fact that I have had a TON of repeat customer book again!

While I love and cherish all my clients I have to say that one of my favorite people to shoot is actually my best friend Ms. S. If you have been following this blog for a while then you know that I shot Ms. S last year. You can check out those incredible images HERE.

I LOVE shooting women for a second go. The main reason is that they are so much more confident because they know what to expect. Yes, there are still some nerves involved with shooting no matter how many times you get in front of the camera... but at least this time it's not completely foreign and warming up takes no time at all.

Another reason why doing a repeat session is great for you and the photographer is now you can let loose even more and bring more raw passion and emotion to your photos.

Listen, this session is all about you and it's for you. Go all the way the fuck out and enjoy yourself, your life, and the progress that you have made. This is what Ms. S did for your second session together... but I will let her tell you her story.

This was your second time shooting with Wonderland Boudoir. How did you feel going through your second session with us?

I felt much more comfortable this tune I around. I was able to get into the zone much easier, and I felt like I was able to take direction more easily because I was familiar with Korin’s instructions.

What did you learn from the last session that helped you with this one?

I remembered from last time that breathing was important!! Also, knowing how I had posed before, and what those shots looked like, helped me make adjustments without needing Korin to tell me how to do it. Also, I felt more comfortable being spontaneous and going with the movement.

What was your favorite part about getting ready for your second session?

Planning out the location and discussing the fun runway-style makeup.

Dallas Boudoir Photography - Wonderland Boudoir 05.jpg

You did an amazing job doing your makeup. What products did you use? What was your inspiration for your look?

I used the Natasha Denona Lila palette for my eyes, and Tarte’s Lights Camera Flashes for my mascara. I really wanted a high-fashion, runway style look; something that you wouldn’t normally wear, but that was still pretty.

The first time we shot together we were inside. How was shooting outside for you? Would you suggest that for other women wanting a boudoir session?

I’m glad we shot outside for the second shoot. I think if I had been outside the first time, I would’ve been too self-conscious. But knowing how I would look, and feeling more comfortable, I loved shooting outside!! It was very freeing! I would definitely suggest it to others.

What is something that you learned about yourself after your second session?

Since this was my second shoot, I wasn’t *as* shocked by how I looked in the pics. But I was able to appreciate even more this time my natural attractiveness and the way my personality came out.

What are some suggestions that you would give other women considering a boudoir session for first or second time?

Above all else, trust your photographer!!! That was something that I realized/learned - of course, as the model, you want your photos to look good. Your photographer wants them to look good too!!! Your photographer is not going to let you look bad!!

Wonderland Boudoir - Boudoir Dallas 02.jpg

For you third session what would your ultimate goal be?

To push the boundaries even further. Crazier makeup, more provocative poses, more public locations.

Wonderland Boudoir - Boudoir Dallas 06.jpg

Please add any final thoughts you might have.

You’re awesome and amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dallas Boudoir Photography - Wonderland Boudoir 09.jpg

For the sake of transparency, I gave her $20 for that last statement. LOL. No... I didn't... kinda...

Not going to lie, I had a BLAST shooting Ms. S a second time. I can't wait until we shoot again for the third time. I'm hoping I can get her in a jungle of some sort... perhaps a hot air balloon. What is something crazy you think I can talk her into?
